Here is the story from DarkFader! There was this MC named Triune who lives in the (909) thats some were in Los Angeles and there was this DJ/Producer that lived in the San Fernando Valley. Well it all started on a Sunday were a Rap battle was thrown. Triune had entered the battle and Jahbluez was there promoting his recording studio and gave free studio time to the winners. well triune placed second and thats were it all started a week later Triune ventured over to the valley to see what the recording studio was about but what he didn't know is he got more then just some studio time but a partner thats on the same page and Jahbluez got more than just a customer. "man these boys hooked up from there and started to make music like that went so well together it was like two peaces of bread and butter!" "And thats how the name Tribluez came about and just to let you know DJ Jahbluez is on the 2001 Dmc Video and did a tribute to the inventer of the scratch Grand Wizard Theodore with his old tem the Wax Dwellaz.
