Three is indeed the magic number. Longevity in the music business requires nearly supernatural staying power and the talented trio known as Triple Ave. has demonstrated that they have what it takes to survive and thrive. The lineup consists of rapper/producer Hypno, rapper Louie da' Saint, and rapper/songstress Gypsyluv. As former members of the Hip Hop band the Subterraneanz, they have performed in the Bay Area and toured throughout Europe (Amsterdam, Austria, Belgium, Brussels, Germany, Paris and Switzerland), released two critically acclaimed underground albums, and the group is launching their first EP, entitled, aptly enough, Ambitions. The album is an innovative fusion of regional styles. Hypno's smooth lyrics and unique production were formed in the hardcore, urban Northeast (Boston). Louie da' Saint's infectious Midwest (St. Louis) twang is unmistakable. Gypsyluv rounds out the effort with her easygoing yet soulful Northern California vibe.
