T-LYRIQ a North Carolina native passion for hip hop begin in middle school when he suffered the lost of a close friend, Latasha. He put his feelings of sorrow into a song and as a result he found his calling in life.(Hip Hop) With influences such as Biggie and Tupac, Lyriq developed his own unique style. He formed a rap group in middle school where he was responsible for writing the songs for the group. While perfecting his writing skills he also had to deal with the trials of growing up in the neighborhood known as the Turners. Entering high school T-Lyriq decided to step up his game by participating in talent shows and open mics. By his senior year in high school he sought out management with Yungsta Entertainment and production with Perfect Blend Recordings.
