S.T.I.X. DA FOREIGNAH (Subliminal. Teacher. Investigating. the Xknown) Bitter with a cause, S.T.I.X. Da Foreignah is fed up with the ways of the world governments and the ignorance it breeds, expressing his views on his debut CD "Going Postal" on Wyld Lyfe Records. Born in New Jersey, he moved to Central Florida at the age of 11 years old, getting the best of both worlds (up north & down south), plus having roots in the Caribbean island of Haiti. S.T.I.X. has very diverse characteristics. Loving Hip Hop & conscience reggae since his youth, da Foreignah has felt inspiration from artists such as Bob Marley, Garnett Silk, Sizzla, KRS 1, Dead Prez, Slick Rick, Buju Banton, Capleton and books such as Behold A Pale Horse, Illuminati 666, New World Order, The Torah and The Bible. Bottom-line, S.T.I.X. is on a mission to promote consciousness thru Hip Hop music. Writing lyrics, producing and arranging songs is part of da Foreignah's lifestyle. S.T.I.X. is also a professional recording engineer since 1997,also done assisting engineering with groups like Goodie Mob, 112, Too Short, Kelly Price, Lil' Jon & The East Side Boys and many more. So best believe da Foreignah is no stranger to the game. He's also opened up for artists like Slick Rick at the House Of Blues (Disney-Orlando), D12 at the Club At Firestone (Orlando), in 1995 at the Unsigned Artist Showcase at the How Can I Be Down convention in Miami, and several other venues throughout his journey.
