Royal T & The Midas Touch can be described in one word: entertaining. Their music is fun, thus the title of the first album: "Funyes?". As the self-proclaimed "king of the english language", The Midas Touch brings a crisp delivery to the group, while the smooth style of Royal T completes the package. Born in Columbus, Ohio, and lifelong friends, they began rhyming together in high school, over the years they have developed their styles to compliment each other flawlessly. All production work on "Funyes?" was done by Illa'strations, a production crew from Columbus consisting of 2 members, Alkaline and Diabolik. Royal T & The Midas Touch have worked with Illa'strations almost as long as they've worked with each other and over the years, both groups have grown into each other's styles. The result is "Funyes?"
