Davey D is a long time Hip-Hop activist in the San Francisco Bay Area. Currently he hosts Hard Knock Radio on KPFA Berkeley and maintains the highly informative www.daveyd.com.
Kat Ouano is known for her work as the keyboard player in Crown City Rockers (formerly Mission).

2. Yo Naci - Rico Pabon and DJ Riddm
Rico Pabon of Richmond, CA's Prophets of Rage also does work with the 11 piece band Omaya.
DJ Riddm is a longtime fixture in the Bay Area Hip-Hop scene and is also the owner of Funky Riddms Record Store in Berkeley, CA

3. US History - THE PIPER
The Piper is one of hip-hop's best kept secrets representing East Oakland, CA. He is set to release a full length album later this year

4. I'm Still Livin' - The Frontline
Hailing from Richmond, CA, this pair has recently made noise on the battle circuit both locally (KMEL) and nationally (MTV)

5. Maybe If I Was Blind - Dro Golden
This newcomer from the Bronx, NY promises to deliver politically charged hip-hop for years to come.

6. We Can - Raashan Ahmad
More popularly known as the MC in Crown City Rockers, this Los Angeles native teams up with his brother/producer JBL on this track.

7. Where Will They Go? - Cool Nutz f/ Bosko
Portland Hip-Hop pioneers Cool Nutz and Bosko form the perfect team on this collaboration. Both artists have worked with West Coast heavyweights the likes of Kurupt, E-40 and Ras Kass.

8. Lickshot! - Lunar Heights
Oakland's Lunar Heights has roots in the LA underground hip-hop scene and are close collaborators with The Crown City Rockers. Expect a full length album in early 2004.

9. Barbara Lee Interview
This post 9/11 interview with Congresswoman Barbara Lee eventually led to controverisial the firing of Davey D from the long running "Street Soldiers" program on San Francisco's KMEL.

10. Sky Is Falling - Blackalicious
Representing the Quannum Collective, Blackalicious donated this track off of their critically acclaimed "Blazing Arrow" album.

11. Bomb The World (Armageddon Mix) - Spearhead and Michael Franti
Spearhead and Michael Franti take their "Power to the Peaceful" message to new heights on this Sly and Robbie remix with assistance from Ledisi and Radioactive.

12. Work Itself Out - Bukue One
Bay Area Renaissance man Bukue One has been holding it down for years as a graf artist, manager and now MC. He has worked extensively with Aceyalone, Del the Funky Homosapien and Tame One to name a few.

13. Doxology - Shingo2 and Doc Maxwell
Shingo and Doc Max team up to debut the sound of their newly formed production crew (The Knocks). Cuts are provided courtesy of DJ Icewater.

14. DUNE - Zion I
Seasoned veterans Zion I have spend the past few years touring the globe leaving fans in awe. This track is off of their latest release "Deep Water Slang".

15. Hey Bobby - Non Prophets
Consisting of Sage Francis and producer Joe Beats, this Rhode Island duo has plans to release a number of albums in 2004.

16. Blame Everybody - Rashinel and Eyecue of the Hobo Junction
After a lengthy hiatus, Rashinel and Eyecue hope to return to earlier prominence starting with this track.

17. The Ship Off - The Omen
This self produced song showcases the multi-talented Omen who has recently produced tracks for Rasco and The New Bay.

18. Rapcha' - Abstract Tribe Unique
A classic cut off of ATU's 1995 debut "Mood Pieces", this song helped launch the career of Ab Rude as well as shape the sound of LA underground Hip-Hop.
