Cuz -V- was named from cousins that at the time where to young to say his name clearly (Vaughn), so cousin V sprouted.The first years of his life Cuz -V- lived from Conn to Mass and Rhode island. Then the turning 14-year-old Cuz -V- met a turn close friend named "3" (Fernando Panis). "3" introduced him to turntables and mixing music. for three years they grew as local DJ's with a rapper the called black Rob (3's cousin) mind you no name stealing involved. Then BLAM a 17 year old turning 18 soon found that with music comes equipment. With no money at hand & crack bottled lined along streets a 5 minute conversation with the neighborhood drug dealer they went from broke to 1000 yellow tops on the streets in 3 days. six months later the jail door slams behind Cuz -V- snitched on and set up by a chick he aint seen in 2 years. In jail Cuz -V- also starts writing his first rap lyrics and performs under the name cousin V. Unfortunately comming home to a cold world he was right back on the block in less then 2 weeks. In the mix of all this Cuz -V- sought his father, Carl Fisher who was in New London, CT and just realesed on parol from a 25 year bid in his 19th year. Not surprised a murder over drugs landed his father in jail or that his pops is a junkie now. Cuz -V- has never seen or looked for him again. Cuz -V- starts his way in the rap music studio sceene. He joined the rap group Organism's of Wisdom as a rapper/DJ, with Partner Ordineire a fell Boston Rapper they would record underground tapes in New Port with Ground Floor at the studio boards. a few years of in and out of jail games took a toll on Cuz -V-'s life. tryna stay out of trouble Cuz -V- opens show from Krs 1 to Das EFX, Lil Vicious, Craige Mac, Mop, Mobb Deep, buckshot shorty, Wu Tang clan and many more.
