Yve The Original Woman is a hip-hop artist/songwriter whose time has come. From varied musical influences such as Mystikal from Louisiana, to the platinum selling Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott, she combines true and tested Soulful beats and bass lines with lyrics that clearly spoken and easy to relate to. Born & raised in the Leimert Park area of Los Angeles, CA, where Yve as the oldest of 2 daughters, her mother, Sylvia, died through drug abuse and alcoholism when Yve was only 17 years old. This had a powerful impact on Yve's future. Shortly after graduating from Hollywood High, this Black artist/entrepreneur decided to submit her life to God and dedicate herself to pursuing her divinely guided recording career. That's when L.A.
