P.U.G.G. was born and raised in the streets of Gary,Indiana. That's right, home of the Jackson 5. On October 15, 1975 came a young Libra sent to change thangs. Back then, in a city basically known for steel mills, P.U.G.G. was raised in a house with seven aunts, three uncles, mom, grandma, a little brother, and a cousin. Raised by grandma, he learned how to appreciate life, learn from the struggle, and show respect unless you're shown otherwise.

Eventually, he ran the streets as a young teen just like any other child in the ghetto. He seen a lot of people die, go to prison, and just throw their lives away due to drugs and prostitution. Inspired by movies like KRUSH KROOVE, BEAT STREET, and BREAKING, he was motivated to write about the struggle. Everyday life inspired him to write more and more.

He's a poet on a instrumental! Today he is one of the favorites around here. He network with a lot of the local artists and believe me when the right person hear him, he'll be at the top of the charts. His heartfelt lyrics and powerful voice will win you over and if not for that, listen for his down to earth persona and the works of a creative spirit. Not bad looking either!
