MOTHERFED
Motherfed creates dope, fun, and above all loud crossover with a humorous edge.

Motherfed was founded in Amsterdam [1997] by Raoul Dumas, The party headed for the studio and recorded a 5-track, self-titled demo in 1998.

The reviews were positive: Motherfed was dubbed "promising", and this in a time where nu-metal and crossover were merely emergent. Taking a fresh direction in their music Motherfed wrote new songs, performed amply, and ended up on stage at the "Pepsi Sziget" in Budapest [2000].

This third demo EP was used solely for promotional ends. It received positive reviews, as a matter of fact only positive ones and Motherfed's career was looking up. More performances were booked, including a headline spot at the "A2A" festival on the "Loud Podium" and concerts at the majority of Holland's important concert halls. The demo was mailed around to various record labels in the hopes of tickling the interest of one enough for a record deal. In 2002 this resulted in the signing of Motherfed to "4Tune Records"? in Amsterdam.

Motherfed entered the studio late 2002 for the fourth time in its career to record the first full-length album "Sick" which was produced by Mr. Zlaya Hadzich (the Gathering, Sonic Youth and labelmates Agresión). After several months of intensive work, the disc was completed, and released in June 2003. They started the release tour supporting "TRICKY" in Paradiso.
