The Revolution Will Be Televised..........

During the summer of '88, a song impacted the life of many young black males, maybe one more than others. "One day I went to a big homey's house to pick up a mixtape. The fourth song started real slow, "Cruisin' down the street in my 6 fo." It wasn't long after that, a young Kapo knew what he was supposed to be doing for the rest of his life.

Fast forward to '98, when 380 proof productions, set up studio time, when "we had a sample and three verses" (Supreme Reign-Afiliated). Through a t-shirt campaign, Kapo was able to fund a second trip to the studio with the same formula, but also with a vision for an independent EP release.

The 2005 Revolution will be televised... after sitting in a local studio for a few hours and listening to a catalogue of beats. A production deal was formed to get Kapo back in the booth, Kostra Nostra Music inya ass, and Blacksmith Entertainment with the unlimited promotion of Visual Arts infiltrating the streets of America. Tha Grind went into production this summer. Because we already had the tracks we wanted to use, the first session, we were in and out of the studio in two hours and created two complete songs. A few days later, the fellas over at the studio, posted what they had just experienced, and after the second visit, they had to put a sample of "Track Trade," song #2, on their website.

The buzz around Kostra Nostra Music (this thing of ours) is that this could be what Sacramento has needed for the past 15 years. "When we talk about Blacksmith Entertainment, we are talking about an umbrella that covers many aspects of the game. I named the Revolution 'Kostra Nostra Music,' because people right away think of mafia, or gangsta sh*t, but it's really about family. My company (Kostra Nostra Music) consists of my brothers, and not that there is a mafia, but in the movies, they're all about respect for yourselves and respect for others. It makes no sense that the different families here in northern California are not coming together and working out win-win situations and deals, to further us in "the game." Brothers like Mr. Major at KNOZ 96.5 are out here to provide the opportunities that we have all needed for a long-ass time," said Kapo.
Kostra Nostra Music will be dropping Tha Grind, featuring this young hustlholic Tha Kapo, second quarter 2005.
