!!!!!!!!!!!!!!XMANNIAK Drops Aug. 1 !!!!!!!!!!

Kamillyon (pronounced Ka mil lee yon) born Marcus Mann realized he had a strong vibe with music at an early age. At the age of 10, he started writing songs. Throughout middle and high school, he wrote vast amounts of literature and poetry. By the age of 17, he mastered playing the drums. This special talent set the mood for things to come in his life.

In February 2000, the Carrollton, GA native started calling himself Kamillyon because of his multiple talents and his ability to adapt to any style of rap. During this time he also his recorded first single "I Live the Life" and later joined a group called the "Drunken Masters". The group's efforts to get a distribution deal feel short therefore forcing them to divert to a new strategy.

In March 2002, the group changed their name to LO LIFE and put together a compilation album, which consisted of group and solo tracks. On April 5, 2002, LO LIFE did a benefit concert for AIDS Atlanta. Even though the positive feedback from their fans was astounding, the group decided to separate because they all wanted to work on their solo projects.

In January 2003, Kamillyon started working on his solo project. After months of broken promises from various artists, producers and a few record labels, Kamillyon and D.Sinkfield decided to start their own record label. In August 2003, the two purchased studio equipment and founded XMANN Entertainment, L.P. The new independent label consists of Kamillyon (CEO, Artist, Writer & Producer)
After spending 8+ hours a day in the studio after the 9 to 5, Kamillyon's first album on the XMANN label was completed in December 2003, which includes the hit singles "Get Hype", "Gotta Change" and "Behind Closed Doors". The singles are currently rotating in the streets, creating a positive buzz. "Get Hype" is currently the theme song at Lindley Middle School. Since the album includes 17 "blazing" tracks, Kamillyon decided to title the album "Blazed Out". All 17 songs were produced and written by Kamillyon and the album was ready for retail on April 22, 2004. 20 songs are already complete for the second album.

Kamillyon is not an amateur when it comes to performing. He has performed at various metro Atlanta and West Georgia venues. Some West Georgia venues are The Maple Street Mansion, Club 31, The Blue Iguana, and The Hollywood Talent Showcase. In addition, the metro Atlanta venues include Club Ritz, Club 112, Monica's, The Zone, Lindley Middle School, Sista Girl #1 Showcase and the WAEN-TV Taping, The Sweet Auburn Festival (Atlanta, GA) Teen Abstinence Rally (Buford, GA), G.O.T H.OT. 2004 Senior Party (Snellville, GA) and Old Campbell County Homecoming 2004 (Fairburn, GA). Although small, the record label and its artist are sure to become well known in the entertainment industry.
