William Berry aka Willmatic was raised in the The Bronx,NYC, the origin of hip hop. Hip hop is not just a fad, but a way of life for kids,especially living in the the ghetto of the innercity. After experience of growing up with hip hop and living the life of hip hop, Willmatic decided to take his experience to a higher level. After dealing with the ups and downs of the New York City streets, Willmatic decided to move out of state, to broaden his horizons in music and do it professionally on a worldwide scale. With a help of a good friend/Mentor, on november 17,1993, Willmatic moved to los angeles, California to pursue his career as a major hip hop act. Upon arriving in LA, Willmatic was soon working with big names in the music industry, such as Ice t and the whole syndicate crew, Kool Keith, Trekan the governer and many more.He is now an active member of a five man crew called the last Kind. Willmatic's journey in hip hop has lead him to perform in many locations across the united states as well as overseas in Korea and Japan.
