The group, 267 Mercenareiz, is made up of two members, Al-sha-heed and C-nut, both produced and wrote every song on both albums. The groups' first publication was titled Vol. 1 and was released on September 19, 2000. It was released on a local scale via mom and pops venues throughout the Midwest. Marketing for Vol. 1 was done on a limited but effective scale that generated a strong fan base within Kansas City. The album presented on this website is our sophomore album titled Vol. 2 Da Sequel. The Mercenareiz have performed for numerous Kansas City High Schools, as well as the Miss Kansas Pageant. Currently, the group is in contract negotiations to open for the Kansas City Knights ABA Organization. Also, under their belt, they scored as well as donated a song on the soundtrack for the independent film Trick Dribble. The film stars Yolanda King and former Harlem Globetrotter Tyrone "Hollywood" Brown. The Mercenareiz also produced the theme song for Team Hollywood, a group of former Harlem globetrotters that play in celebrity games across the country.
