STAY Enterprises, Inc. was born in the Brownsville Projects, located in Brooklyn, NY. Long before it became a reality, STAY Enterprises was conceived and formed in the mind of Edward "Flick" Barnes, an 'old school' hustler who was looking for a better way. With help from his long-time friend, Darryl "Ankhenaton" Beecham, Flick became the founder/CEO (C Eddie O) of STAY Enterprises. With Ankhenaton as Vice President, STAY Enterprises looked for an initial avenue by which to market itself. Another long-time friend of Flicks, Steve "Top Dollar" Dorsey, was also a long-time rapper with incredible talent. As Secretary of the company and also it's first recording artist, Top was that avenue. Hooking up with Producer/Engineer Chris Betts was the fuel that started our long trek up the mountain that is the music industry. Unfortunately, Chris died before he got to "see the promised land." However, we totally believe that he continues to guide us in spirit. It seems that after that, all the components necessary to catapult STAY to greatness practically landed in our laps! Fred "Governor Gern" Stuart, a cousin of Ankhenaton's is an artistic phenomenon! He signed on as our Project Manager. Vincent "Vinnie Vegas" Matos is a whirlwind of energy and ideas along with the fortitude to make them reality! An excellent speaker, he can capture the full attention of individuals and crowds alike with his magnetic personality. He signed on as the General Manager for the company, as well as for our artists. Speaking of our artists, WOW! Through extensive searching and auditioning, we've surrounded Top Dollar with some of the hottest young talent ever to spit a rap! Conscientious, angry, romantic, literary, narrative, new age, social and current events, you name it! We got it.
