Young Starrs, a product of Camden NJ, and the New Haven CT bred emcee Murph, capture a presence in Hip Hop that is often untouched. With the constant categorizing of a culture that should not be jarred, it's hard for artists to represent themselves and be accepted and appreciated by both mainstream and underground audiences. Starrs & Murph do this naturally. Harboring a passion for writing since they can remember, everything from poetry, to spoken word to rap, they've been performing together for a little over 3 years.
