Smooth Rapture has been saved for 15 years and has rapped gospel for 11 years. He has been honored through the grace of God to make the music ministry possible to others as well as for himself. He never thought in his life that he'd have this type of calling. He states,"When I was playing around with my keyboard, I heard a small quiet voice reminding me about writing lyrics and rapping during my last year in high school. I said, "oh yeah" because I hadn't written lyrics or rapped ever since. So the Lord has brought to my attention to turn my writing and rapping around from secular to gospel. So, I figured I'd take advantage by creating some tracks and go on from there. Surely, I knew it was the Lord." By the way Smooth Rapture is Leonard Hueitt. I'm sure you've caught on. His very 1st single was, (Chillin' with my Father God) in '94. Then in '98 his 1st EP (Can You Feel It?) and in '99 his LP(Promises Of God). Leonard has started his own business as of August '99 called Smooth Rapture Production. He creates music tracks to help others that are interested and also for himself.
