Influenced by his two favorite authors Iceberg Slim and Donald Goines, Slimm Goines combines clasic street story-telling with metaphoric punchlines and more...old-school braggadocious rhymes that hip-hop fans worldwide could relate. He has been compared to legendary lyricists including his idol Rakim, Ice Cube, KoolKeith (aka Dr.Octogon/Doom), Mos Def and the late Big L (RIP).
