Corey Battle (Pitch Black) also known as P.I. is a polished MC / producer. He has been an MC for over ten years and a producer for more than three. He has showcased his talents in venues up and down the East Coast, opening performances for such names as Rakim, Common, Biz Markie, Craig Mack, The Roots, and others. Some additional accomplishments include audio and visual commercial slots for the MTV anti-drug campaign Enough is Enough. He has received various write-ups in local magazines including The Source magazine, Right On!, and the Philadelphia magazine. Two of his songs have been used in an independent film by Eugene Martin entitled Edge City. His lyrical versatility has been utilized in numerous mediums. Pitch Black is an independent artist affiliated with the rising Philly-based indie lil' drummaboy recordings. The ultimate goal for the venture is worldwide distribution.
