Mac-G, pka M-Grand the lyricist, producer, and all in one Hip-Hop artist.
His name is an acronym for "Musical Genius Recreating All New Developments."
While at a very early age his constant exposure to such musical formats such as
Jazz, Blues, Funk, and Hip-Hop, made his desire to perfect his own artistry his
number one goal in life.

Presently in his late twenties this hungry young artist has performed production on a diverse number of artist. This list includes Tha Row Recording artist "KURUPT" (from the Dogg Pound) which never surfaced due to the label's
in-house legal issues, the now multi-platinum Ruff Ryder's First Lady "EVE," and Bloodline/Def Jam Recording artist "ICEBERG" a song titled "DOG 4 LIFE" taken from The EXIT WOUNDS SOUNDTRACK.

The rapid surfacing of M-GRAND is a tribute to his focus and work ethic to
perfecting his craft. While as a member of the now Philly Hip-Hop group
"PLAGUE REGIME," his role of superb lyricist was evident as his solo release
"Get On It" enjoyed light rotation on the area's number one urban radio station WUSL Power 99 FM. He also independently released an underground Compilation LP
entitled "DOOMSDAY" Plague's Outbreak featuring his group PLAGUE REGIME
and other various artist, which moved considerably well on the underground network.

At present M-GRAND's latest production work is included on numerous Bloodline Records projects, label owned by rapper/actor DMX in which M-Grand is currently signed as one of the label's in-house producers under the name Mac G which is short for M-GRAND. He is also in the works on a new independent project LP (not titled yet) The Musical Genius Recreating All New Developments, a Hip-Hop version of "PRINCE," complete artistic talent from every musical aspect, criticized on his desire to be different, respected status from his peers, and his undeniable talent for longevity in the music industry.
