From the Gateway To The West, St. Louis, Missouri is the rapper D-No. Although D-No was born in the Show Me State, he was partly raised in the Land Of Oz, Kansas. Then
migrated out to the Westcoast, Dago(San Diego if you don't know.)

Intelligent and thought provoking lyrics. The Dangerous D-No and Wisdom M.C. (the militant christian) provides a breath of fresh air in creativity and original rap music.

'TARGET PRACTICE', the first track sets the tone for all you fake, sucka m.c.'s. Peep knowledge from Wisdom: now whose next/to confess/that they're the best/no doubt/you'll
be the one with a bullseye on your chest/so lookout/to you m.c.'s who be claimin you're hard but lack the passion/we're gonna use you as Target Practice. Followed by D-No's treacherous verse: female m.c.'s posing harder than a male/better take yo dike/have a lick/and go straight to hell.

Next up is the autobiographic title track, 'MID 2 WEST'. This club thumper features D-No smooth, laidback vocals as he flows about sucka m.c's and his coming from the midwest to the westcoast.

'SHE WANTS A MAN', the clever but eerie single, takes your mind into the world of a certain type of female. D-No spits: six months down the road/honeymoon's over/they got
into a big fight/she kicked him out/less than two weeks later/he's back in the house/his charm expired like his visa card/he's out of a job/she works hard to support him/tired as hell...nuff said, you get the pictured.

'WISEONE', the ending track features the tag team knockout Wisdom M.C. and D-No, as they trade verses of knowledge. Peep Wisdom as he destroys with: black against blacks you
shall watch this cease/as all black nationalities will have peace/check it out now/zoom, doom if you're not down, well MOVE!, and give some room/so the brothers and sisters can
balloon.
Follow by D-No's smooth but powerful voice: going on and on sometimes a cycle of misery/no discipline Wisdom/they're not retaining knowledge or hearing me/and something
is wrong/when a brother ignore black history/a mystery to me/my ni--a stand for nationality/like our brothers and sisters from down under/my aboriginees.

D-No got into rap by accident. Always a hip hop junkie since hearing Sugarhill Gang's, Rappers Delight, D-No was more focus on playing keyboard and guitar. One day during
D-No's senior year in high school, his cousin, 6-Pak (one of the first white boys to rap in the midwest, they're related by marriage) came by after school and asked D-No, known then as De Lano would he like to rap in a talent show. De Lano's reaction to his cousin question
was laughter and a sacastic reply, "man, I can't rap". Well, after some heavy pleading from 6-Pak and mentioning money was involved for the winners D-No said "let's do it". D and 6-Pak sat down and wrote 'Dope Lyrics'. With his cousin 6, helping him with his lyrics, D was impressed when they finished. They came up with the group name 2 Dope, D-No's stage name was Marcus-D-Rock at the time. Taking his middle name an adding Rock because of his love of rock music and Run D.M.C. Acquiring the services of Jon the beatboxer from the The Class Boys of Topeka, Kansas 2 Dope placed second in the talent show and walked out with a check. And that my friends is how the rapper now known as
D-No got his start.
