SHANE

Kishane, a.k.a SHANE was Bred by Jamaican parents who were full of unlimited musical vibes which in turn was passed down to him. The vibe in his family's spot always centered around Reggae, Rap, and R&B.

SHANE was born in Brooklyn, NY( BIG UP' Crown Heights). The love for Hip hop began to evlove when Ralph MCDaniels created and hosted Video Music Box. Everyday after school SHANE would sit, watch and imitate the likes of LL Cool J, Big Daddy Kane, Biz Markie, Run DMC, EPMD, and the list goes on.

Eventually SHANE left the BK, at age 17 and went to Howard University. Immediately he was sucked into the enormous Hip Hop vibe. He began working with local producers, and doing shows at local spots like the Ritz Night Club. In 1993, he received the opportunity to open for the likes of Mary J. Blige, Pete Rock and CL Smooth, Teddy Riley, and SHAI at HU's Homecoming (Infinite thanks to Stephanie Carr-rest in peace).

Presently, SHANE is still molding his craft and has ventured into producing music as well. SHANE's sound has been described as Infectious, Hittin' music that makes you bob your head and move your feet. He has been compared to the likes of Jay Z, LL, and GURU(Combined). He is a mix of the old and the new with a touch of an enigma on top. When SHANE raps you can feel the beat, yet feel what he is saying due to his extreme clarity on the microphone.

SHANE is relentless, never giving up. SHANE will be beating on your eardrums real soon. PEACE
