As one of the first LGBT-identified crews in rap music, San Francisco-based Rainbow Flava continues to break new ground by challenging the homophobic stereotypes and boundaries of the hip-hop world. Rainbow Flava has assembled an impressive range of styles and material, combining Dutchboy's hardcore rhymes and bass-heavy, sample-driven beats, Tori Fixx's R&B-flavored production and vocal stylings, and the skilled turntablism of DJ Monkey.
