This conscious emcee has been in the game now for 7 years strong. Now at 23, this fire spitting native of the Midwest is ready to make his arrival complete. In the era of the influence of commercial artistry MilkDrop is a throwback to the forms involved and used in original hip hop. Many things in life motivate MilkDrop currently including his NEW WIFE. With this major change his lyrical content is now a more defined mix of his passions and his experience in life as a new husband and father (don't try to holla I'm not listening). This ambitious wordsmith already has hit the streets with 6 mixtapes over the last 4 years selling over 1500 copies locally and via the internet. He also has been included on Global Hip Hop Records figurehead group Regenerated Headpiece's well reknowned sophomore effort 'Dogfight'. He is currently set to release 'The Entrance Exam' ep as part of the 3 part '5 With Reach' series in early September after minor set backs pushed it from it's original release in mid August. Also, on deck for MilkDrop is being featured on a mixtape compiled by a fresh new producer in D. Will's 'Streets Are Calling: The Never Ending Struggle' Vol. 3, and another self arranged mixtape tentatively entitled 'Soul Providers Presents: The Year of The Beast Mixtape' V.1. Which will be hosted as well as joined by fellow crew member(s) Dj KIZ-ONE and Reach. This mixtape will include artists both locally and globally and should be out by March. The future has become brighter as MD became the last piece of the puzzle and newest member of the high rising Soul Providers crew. While logging 13 shows in the latter half of 2005 Milk has just begun to make his mark on the local scene. 2006 will be the year that defines how far Milk wants to go in both the local and global hip hop scenes. In the end to take a quote from my man Reach 'altitude reflects attitude'. Let's get it! Check out the artist's website: http://www.myspace.com/milkdrop Track List: 1.
