m.I.c. grew up in Brooklyn and New Jersey where he cultivated a love, appreciation and deep reverence for all forms of music. M.I.C began Djing at an early age but got tired of constantly spending money to play other peoples music so he decided to start making his own. Through his practice and studies of everything and anything that interested him he created EXCHANGABLE DIMENSIONS which is a free variation of our existence. M.I.C. sticks to the essence of real hip-hop but at the same time is not afraid to take it to a new dimension. He has never succumbed to the whims of corporate hip-hop, instead choosing to pursue his own decidedly uncommercial leanings. His expansive style makes him hard to pinpoint and one never knows what they will be hearing next. The multi-dimensional sound goes at some points from simple and subtle to aggressive and raw. He has produced tracks for underground artists in various places from NYC to CA. Quiet Man 13 is another place we have been taken too through m.i.c. and EXCHANGABLE DIMENSIONS and we will be taken to many more in time to come.
