Emerging rap artist Mezz-A-Nine is set to raise the bar with the release of Mercury Rising on World Class Ghetto Entertainment. Mercury Rising is the first of its kind in that it will be serviced to three different genres, Alt. Modern Rock, Urban Contemporary, and college hip-hop simultaneously. When questioned about the decision to make such a bold move Mezz-A-Nine stated, “Music is such a vast ocean of thoughts and ideas that I found it hard to choose just one single to promote in one format. I saw the different reactions I got on the street from certain people and decided to try a little something different when it came time to release a single.†He then jokingly replied, â€The label was skeptical at first, but I was able to spit some game and convince them.
