The Voice of Clouds was organized by Rev. Charlie Wells in 1954 in Panama City, Florida. The group released their first recording with Song Bird Records in conjunction with Peacock Records. Later the group went on to record several albums with HSE Records and Champ Records. One of their biggest sellers was the title cut, "Someone To Care", on HSE Records. The group has sang and touched the hearts of people in many cities around the USA and other countries. The members are (left to right): David James, Marvin Parker, Joe James Sr., Rev Charlie Wells, Moses Long, and Joe James Jr. In April 2005, the group won 1st place in the Pressing Towards Your Vision Conference held in Rochester, New York. The event was hosted by Golden Lewis of T.A.O. Ministries. The group will be releasing a new CD in 2006 along with a brand new DVD with guest appearance by Bishop James R. Wright & The Progressive C.O.G.I.C. Mass Choir.
