Frank and Angela were both born and raised in Savannah, GA. They both attended the same high school and were members of the same church. The two of them also sang in some of the same community choirs that were organized at that time. But, it was not until two years after Frank graduated from high school that they began to date and were married. While Frank served in the Navy, Angela worked as a church musician and trained many choirs. During this time, both Frank and Angelareceived their call into the ministry. In the summer of 1989, Frank and Angela were living in Oak Harbor, Washington. God spoke to them about planting a church in the city of Oak Harbor. They planted Liberty Delivereance Center and Pastored for 7 years. The Pastoral ministry proved to be a great training ground for the Simmons. At this time, Frank and Angela had been married for 5 years and were told by numerous doctors that they would never be able to have children. Angela had previously had a miscarraige in 1986 and the report of the physicians did not make things any better. It was not until October of 1993 when Angela attended a women's conference in Seattle, Washington and received prayer that God began to confound the doctors. Three months after the conference, Angela was pregnant. Frank and Angela now have four children that testify to the power of an ALMIGHTY GOD! Since that time, the Simmons have been in fellowship with many Pastors and ministries across the country and have worked in many ministry capacities. They have appeared on the Atlanta and Seattle broadcasts of TBN's Praise the Lord many times. They currently attend the Sanctuaryof Savannah, serve as Director at The Old Savannah City Mission, Praise and Worship Leaders at Living Hope Community Fellowship Church, former choir leaders for the Bethesda Home for Boys, and former hosts of Purpose for Living, a weekly television broadcast on local cable channel 19 in Savannah, Georgia. Singing is more than music to the Simmons. It is ministry. It is the vehicle by which they believe God will use them to minister to people all over the world regardless of age, race, or background.
