Troy Taylor is one of the most phenomenal voices to hit the gospel circuit. His soulful melodies and sensational harmony mark him as a truly anointed man of God. He has many of the industries most beloved veterans attesting to his skill from John P. Kee to Yolanda Adams. Born in Queens, New York, Mr. Taylor fine tuned his vocal gift while raised in a small town in Georgia. His talent not limited to singing, from a young age he played the drums for his church and moved on to master the organ and piano. In 2000 he became a pivotal member of Divine Connection, who went on to record their first album in 2001 with Bad Boy Entertainment producer Jeffery "J-Dub" Walker. That year, they were blessed to be part of the "Sisters in the Spirit Tour" in Augusta, Georgia by opening for international icons such as Mary Mary, Shirley Caesar, Yolanda Adams and Virtue. The following year the quartet performed in concert with Trin-i-tee 5:7. In 2003 the group changed their name to J-4 Twenty 3 and recorded "Above All" with Integrity Gospel which was featured on "Gotta Have Gospel" and "The Art of Praise" with other greats like Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary, Ted and Sherry, Shirley Caesar, Alvin Slaughter and many others. They then performed at the Six Flags Annual Gospel Showcase with other new artists like Lisa McClendon. J-4 Twenty3 again made waves by appearing on a talent search for Trinity Broadcasting Network in an event called "Exalting Him 2004" Their second album, "The Journey", was well anticipated by a budding fan club. Given the opportunity to continue his already promising career, Troy Taylor presents his solo album, Involved, with a dynamic ability only God can give.
