The NJPAC Jubilation Choir, established in October 1998 under the auspices of the Arts Education Department of the New Jersey Performing Arts Center is a volunteer choir of professional auditioned voices committed to African American Sacred Music with an emphasis on Gospel Music. The Choir made its debut on January 13, 1999 at NJPAC's 2nd Annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration, which featured Evangelist Shirley Caesar as special guest. The Choir has also performed at NJPAC with Queen Latifah, the Jenny Burton Experience, Isaac Hayes, Michael Bolton, Walter Hawkins, Cissy Houston, Vickie Winans, Donnie McClurkin, Kurt Carr and the Kurt Carr Singers, and most recently Daryl Coley, Albertina Walker, Dorothy Norwood, and Tramaine Hawkins.
