MarQue MarQueniQua "MarQue" Samuels, a native of St. Petersburg, Florida, has four children and hails from a family of ministries. Her father, Rev. Don A. Gaskin, is a pastor of a local church, her mother, a gifted operatic spiritual vocalist and Minister of dance in Cleveland, Ohio. Out of five siblings, a brother and sister are ordained ministers and another sister is also a gifted gospel vocalist. MarQue is presently completing her studies to be ordained in the near future. MarQue feels her life is a living testimony! She has been singing since she could speak and has shared her gift with many through various performance venues. She believes wholeheartedly that she receives revelation directly from God and solely seeks to be utilized as His vessel. MarQue's debut CD, "Surely, Solely, Souly," will be released late 2003. Her belief is that it was designed to give greater understanding of biblical lessons, by putting the verses, stories and concepts into song. Although MarQue's church home is presently in St. Petersburg,Florida, her clearly stated overall viewpoint is as follows, "the world is my arena, there's no need for walls?! I only pray that God will continue to keep His hand upon me so that I will not directly cause anyone any harm."
