Marks of Christ is the collaboration of two songwriters, Geoff Twigg and Cory DeAngelo. Geoff and Cory serve as worship leaders at West Shore Evangelical Free Church in Pennsylvania. Songs that surround me was produced in Nashville by Derri Daugherty featuring a great line-up of musicians and vocalists. Derri is a veteren producer and engineer and has produced some great albums over the years like the Choir's grammy-nominated "flap you wings" and the City on a Hill series. This recording is no exception and Derri has once again done a wonderful job bringing out the best in the songs. In addition to Geoff and Cory, Songs that surround me features the vocal talents of Shirley Bunnell, Carla Sullivan, Brian Whitman and Derri. Musicians include the masterful organ playing of Phil Madeira, bass by Chris Donahue and drums by Ken Lewis. Several songs feature beautiful string arrangements by Geoff, played by members of the Nashville symphony orchestra.
