BIO: Mae Messado: Hello I'm Mae Messado; I was born in Eagle Lake, Texas but was raised in Matthews, Texas. Both of my parents were great roll models; they always encouraged me to set goals in life and to do whatever I wanted to, they also strongly reminded me to keep God first in my life. I began singing in the church choir at the age of five. I was baptized and started taking piano lessons that same year. During my Junior and Senior years of high school, I played the piano for two different churches. After graduating from high school in 1976, I moved to Houston, Texas and attended college at the University of Houston. I'm a current member of the Garden of Gethsemane Baptist Church, the original church that I joined after moving to Houston. I've always loved to sing for the Lord, God is so amazing and wonderful to me. I can't thank him enough for his many blessings. The trials and tribulations of my life have only drawn me closer to Him. I hope that my ministry will be a blessing to others. And I pray that my works will draw someone closer to God.
