Hello and my name is Joshua Ho. I have been singing from the tender age of three in the church, under the influence and direction of my older sister, Janet. I received my Bachelor of Music from the University of Miami, where I studied classical voice (tenor) and music media and industry and received my Masters of Music in Vocal Performance from Florida International University. I am currently working on my thesis for Master of Music in Performing Arts Production also at Florida International University. I have been active with the Florida Grand Opera as a member of the opera chorus and have performed many roles with the opera workshop at University of Miami and Florida International University. I have won NATS Competitions at the district and regional levels and received numerous honors and scholarships from both universities. In music ministry, I was a member of the Salt and Light Mission Team under the direction of Dr. Jey Kim of Virginia, where I had the opportunity to minister throughout United States, including Hawaii. And later became a member of Proclaim Ministries under the direction of Rev. Jon Choi of Texas, where I had the opportunity to minister throughout South Korea, Philippines, and parts of the United States. I am the current program director and music director for the Florida Korean Youth Retreat held annually at Lake Yales, Florida. Through His grace, I had the opportunity to serve as the praise/worship leader for the Florida Southern Baptist Missions Conference, Florida Southern Baptist Pastors and Pastor¡¯s Wives Conference and Korean Annual Southern Baptist Convention. I currently serve as the Minister of Music for First Baptist Church of Greater Miami and ministers through God¡¯s gift of music throughout parts of United States and South Korea. Through God¡¯s grace, I have released my first album, Lead Me To The River, produced by Net Music Productions (Janny Choi and Nelson Braxton) and executive producer Rev. Jon Choi. This album includes ten tracks that blend my classical and contemporary style background with mixture of full orchestration with hint of classical and jazz flavor. Working with smooth jazz recording artists, The Braxton Brothers (Peak Records), and classical and jazz recording artist Janny Choi (Blue Cherry Records), have definitely opened up new horizon for my music. This album includes inspirational hymns as well as contemporary worship songs that inspired and strengthened my walk with Jesus Christ, my Savior, and hopefully will do the same for all of the listeners. With this album, I pray to God that I will be able to further contribute to Jesus¡¯ Great Commission by proclaiming the Gospel through God¡¯s graceful gift of music throughout all United States and Asia.
