A native from the Dominican Republic, from the age of 15 his unmistakable quest became using music to reach out to lives that need encouragement, comfort and an uplifting message of love and hope. For the past six years, Jorge Luis served as the Director of Music for Church of the Redeemer, a dynamic church located in Gaithersburg, Maryland, with a growing congregation of over 4,000 where he led a 150-voice choir. The enthusiasm and sincerity Jorge Luis has demonstrated as a worship leader has earned him a distinct reputation in the local Christian community. Referred to as "the best worship leader in Montgomery County," Jorge Luis has served in a number of leadership roles in and around the DC Metro area. Among the most notable: He directed the choir for the 1997 Promise Keepers' Conference at RFK Stadium, which was attended by over 50,000, and assisted with the music for the March of the "Million" in Washington, DC that same year. Additionally, on many occasions, Jorge leads worship for the U.S. Senate Staff, working closely with U.S. Senate Chaplain Dr. Lloyd Ogilvie. Jorge Luis has shared stages with many nationally and internationally acclaimed artists such as Ron Kenoly, Selah, Richie Ray and just recently with four-time Grammy Award winner Juan Luis Guerra, among others. At the moment, Jorge Luis is serving as an Associate Pastor at Christ Fellowship/Comunidad Cristiana, a multicultural church in Elizabeth,New Jersey, with a non-conventional style, and strategically inclined to reaching out to the community.
