Sister Paquita was born in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico, in 1943. She arrived in the city of Chicago with her mother and siblings in 1950. In 1958, after her parents separated, she left school and went to work in a factory. In 1960 she took another job and was given a supervisory position.

That's where she met her spiritual mother and mentor, Georgina Quintana, a real woman of God, whom the Lord used to minister to her. Georgina Quintana gave Sister Paquita her first bible and invited her to one of Brother Yiye Avila's crusades. She went to that crusade on May 30, 1969, together with her mother and eldest sister, and all three accepted the Lord as their Savior. That same day the Lord cleansed her of all drug and alcohol addictions which she had battled for many years. When she went home that evening, she told the man she was living with that she had accepted the Christian life and she did not want to live her old life anymore. They were married and are still married to this day. They have two sons and eight grandchildren.

When she gave her life to Christ, she started to attend the Church Of God MB with her spiritual mother, and worshipped there until her move in 1984. She requested a Letter Of Transfer to Bethesda Christian Center, which she still attends. This church is located at 4538 West Fullerton and her pastors are David and Noelia Rivera whom the Lord has used mightily to impact her life and help her fulfill the purpose God had inteded for her - to evangelize the nonbelievers by way of songs with warnings about His second return. When the Lord wakes her up in the middle of the night, he gives her lyrics and music for all the songs she has written. All of her songs have a call for repentance and conversion to Christ. The only one who offers eternal life after this earthly life is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Amen.
