Michael Sims, Patrick Warren, and Darrin Thurber call themselves, "for the call". They received a recording contract in April of 2004. The CD they produced was released on March 15th of 2005 and is called, "Child of the King". Shortly after finishing the recording of the CD Michael was activated in the Army Reserves to work in the chaplaincy. He worked at a combat support hospital in Mosul, Iraq. Michael returned in November of 2005 and is currently residing in the Fort Worth, TX area. Darrin has returned from his missionary work on an island in Micronesia named Pohnpeii. He is currently a senior at Pacific Union College in California. He studies classical guitar. Patrick is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at a hospital in Ft Worth, TX. "for the call" is presently planning on touring and producing another CD with more of the music they have written.
