Singer/songwriter and actress Tristen has a resume that could make a seasoned veteran long to be young again. With professional stage experience in both categories under her belt Tristen released her first CD of new original music in March of 1999. Her follow-up CD "Something Good" was released in August of 2000. With "Something Good" Tristen turns onto a pop-country road where her love for new country music and her experience performing with other pop and folk artists have helped shape her latest compositions. At 18, Tristen offers us a fresh new perspective delivered with incredible depth and maturity.

A songbird at age 4, Tristens constantly sang her favorite songs around the house. During her grade school years she began to dazzle audiences in school and at other community events with a remarkable sense of vocal style and performance poise.

She became active in the Drama Club at her Junior High School and after several lead roles she decided to audition for local summerstock theater. She was hired, and her performances in Bye, Bye Birdie and Annie at The Theater at the Center in Munster, In. led to her hand-picked selection by the director for a three month run of Rogers and Hammersteins "Carousel" at The Candlelight Dinner Theater in Summit, Il.

Inspired by a Lilith Fair concert in the summer of 1997, Tristen tried singing during open mic night at at a local coffee shop and was booked for a weekend spot the same night. That winter she began working on songs that would become her first CD. Vibrant open stage performances in Chicago's premier acoustic music venues were replaced by regular bookings and she continues to perform in and around Chicago.
