The Fricker-Nicker Sessions was completed in August of 1991 at Nevessa Production and Dutchess Community College Studios. Chris Andersen engineered and with The Hour produced Everytime, Celebrate the Rain and Heading For the Way Way Out. For these three songs Russ Irwin played keys, Mike Mulvey played bass, and Per Wikstrom played percussion. The rest of the tunes were engineered by Jim Fricker and produced by Fricker, Mike Nickerson and The Hour: Carey Harmon-drums/percussion/vocals, Marshall Madow-guitar/harmonica/vocals and Matt Turk- guitar and vocals . All songs are written by The Hour. Some of the music on Fricker-Nicker was developed when the band was living on the lower east side of Manhattan. Others were written in Woodstock, NY and at the Arrowhead Ranch. Fricker-Nicker was The Hour's second full length album originally released in cassette form.
