The ChoirGirlz are 3 women who met while singing together in Canada's prestigious Toronto Mendelssohn Choir. While they adored singing Bach, Beethoven, Haydn and other wonderful classical music, they felt the need to give vent to their deep inner country roots, and after viewing "O Brother Where Art Thou" decided that they MUST sing this music. With Debbie Fleming, their director, playing guitar, Mary Ellen Moore, Dorothy McDonall and Debbie began assembling a repertoire of music consisting of classic country, bluegrass and folk -- to humour, blues, rock -- anything that had potential for great harmony. The blend of their voices is quite phenomenal and unique, and they recorded their first CD, entitled "Angel Wings" in 2003. Before the project was finished, they were invited to showcase their material in Nashville at the Nashville New Music Conference, and while there, they performed at The Ryman Auditorium, and The Trap nightclub. Their music is upbeat, uplifting, and never ceases to leave people smiling and feeling good. What more could you ask for? Check out the artist's website: http://www.choirgirlz.com Track List: 1.
