A note from Amber: Finally it’s finished: No More Boxes. No More Boxes is a very personal album for me and is representative of the years 2005-2006 when I went off to college and stumbled into some of the cliché and not so cliché moments of self discovery. The album wrestles with deep philosophical questions of the human condition, relationships, questing for meaning, and traveling the alternative road. Each song captures a moment and a thought process that points to specific moment or periods of contemplation in the last couple years. Recorded and produced by my dad in our house in Snohomish WA, this album is a product of long hours of sweat and emotion and I am very proud of the finished product. To everyone who has been so encouraging along the way, listened to mixes, and come to shows to support its creation, thank you. I hope this album provides a journey for each person who listens, and a platform for questioning your own individual boxes. About Amber: Amber is currently a 19 year old sophomore Philosophy/Political Science major at Northwestern University near Chicago. However, she is originally from a suburb outside of Seattle and is deeply influenced by the rich musical culture of her home and family. She hopes to spread her music relationship to relationship and provide honest raw music for her audience as much as possible this year.
