Influences: Portishead, Joni Mitchell, Jeff Buckley, Tori Amos, Sarah McLachlan, Dido, Ani DiFranco, Fiona Apple, Jill Scott and Erykah Badu

Singer/Songwriter Alina Clark introduces a fresh new folk style to the world combining eloquently soulful melodies with mature and wise sophistication. At the age of seven, music captivated this young talent and she began to study piano, guitar and songwriting. In high school Alina participated in school plays, acting, dancing and singing. She also achieved honors in Spanish and practiced voice, piano and ballet at several notable institutions. Graduating with both Spanish and English degrees from Fairmont State College in West Virginia, Alina began her professinal career in music performing as a pianist and vocalist at the prestigious Nemacolin Woodlands Resort. She also taught English overseas in LaBranza, Chile. While she was there she had the opportunity to sing live on Chilean Radio.

Brand new to the scene with her solo debut release entitled, "Love Lead the Way", Alina Clark comes into her own and produces a unique, romantic and heartfelt recording. Her vocals are strong and clear with effortless lyrical delivery. Breakout singles include the title track, "Love Lead the Way", and the spiritually triumphant "Ice". Every song on the album expresses Clark's musical depth which is refreshing and full of life. "Love Lead the Way" is folk music but in a new light fusing elements of today's styles with yesterday's classics.
