Amanda Kingsbury takes on a solo career in music with a great performance. On stage, her name is Aris. Amanda started playing guitar in 1995 and has been writing her own music ever since. Her influences range from 70's rock bands, like Boston and Pink Floyd, to 90's alternative rock, such as Pearl Jam and Sheryl Crow. Amanda has over 50 songs copyrighted and has strong technical and business abilities. Currently, Amanda attends college at California Polytechnic University in Pomona. Her major is Philosophy and she plans on graduating in June of 2002. In her free time, Amanda likes to engage in sporting activities such as SCUBA diving, horseback riding, and golf. She is a volunteer diver at the Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific. Amanda has recorded two albums. The latest is titled "Few and Far Between." On it are six of her most recent songs.
