Tom Knight and Elizabeth McMahon have been delighting children and adults since 1988 with their tasty blend of music and puppetry. Based in Ithaca, NY, they were called the Peanut Butter and Jelly Puppeteers.

While Tom sang, played guitar and interacted with the audience, Elizabeth brought the puppets to life behind the puppet stage, combining all the best elements of a concert with the action of a puppet show. Sometimes, the roles were reversed, and Elizabeth came out to sing a song, while Tom became the puppeteer.

Drawing on her art background, Elizabeth designed and created all of PB and J's colorful puppets. Together they wrote the songs and stories that made up their shows. This collection represents some of the most popular songs from the Peanut Butter and Jelly days.

Knight and McMahon went their separate ways in 1997, but the songs live on in their solo puppet shows and CDs.
