From the time I heard The Kingston Trio, Peter, Paul, & Mary, Bob Dylan, The Weavers, Woodie Guthrie, and other folk music giants I've been in love with this music. My hope is to preserve and pass it along, for it is timeless in its' truth and simplicity.
I grew up in Kansas City (yes during the 60's), spent time in the coffee houses and parks learning these (and other) great songs. Played in groups, and solo. Got drafted. Went to Vietnam as a medic. Came home, went to school. Partied way too much. Dropped in and out of school numerous times. Hitchiked across country for awhile. Got a job, did the nine-to-five thing. Got married, raised some great kids. And now, it's time to resurrect an old love and to pass along this great music.
Listen to some of these, and I hope you will enjoy.
