The music is an energetic blend of jigs, reels, hornpipes, and aires that is reminiscent of the music played in the pubs of Ireland. Wayne Kahre Wayne's hard-driving Fiddle adds a unique voice to Kilkenny Road's music. His desire for the music is unequalled among all but the most devout of his instrument. He is versatile in a variety of musical styles including Bluegrass, but Irish music is his deepest passion. John Norvell The Irish Whistle and Low Whistle are John's primary instruments in this group, but he also plays the Irish Flute and Bodhrán. In addition to the fiddle, his whistle adds the other primary melodic voice to the sound of the group. Steve Mayfield Steve is the epitomy of the term "multi-instrumentalist". With over 80 musical instruments in his arsenal, many of which he hand-crafted himself, he truly has a gift for playing well. Bouzouki is his primary instrument in this group, but occasionally he can been seen playing one of this Guitars, Mandolin, Mountain Dulcimers, or Chorded Zephyrs. John O'Connor John O'Connor is one of the finest Bodhrán players in the area. He is responsible for the heartbeat of the music and adds just the right amount of lift that the group needs. He is a charter member of the band and actively participates in several area sessions. Check out the artist's website: http://www.kilkennyroad.com/ Track List: 1. Julia Delaney 2.
