A man of diversified tastes and interests, Graham Leathers is among the most creative people in the industry. Those familiar with the "filk" genre will know what this artist is about. From thought provoking to belly laughs, Graham delivers an eclectic blend of multiple styles ranging from blues and rock, to traditional Celtic, Bluegrass and contemporary folk music. Graham is a veteran of stage, screen and radio. He has worked as an extra in many movies, in numerous stage plays as a veteran of the Western Canadian Fringe Festival circuit and voiced multiple characters in radio plays, and appeared on "Madly off in All Directions", one of CBC Radio's top national comedy showcases. He is multi- faceted enough to have hosted a few cooking shows on local community TV. Graham attributes most of his influences to Stan Rogers, Steve Goodman, Spike Jones and Bugs Bunny. He plays guitar, 5-string banjo, bodhran and fills in the cracks with a bit of keyboard. Graham has been performing in one aspect or another for most of his life be it as a musician, actor, singer/songwriter, playwright and vaudeville entertainer. He has gone from busking to playing thousand seat venues with some of the best entertainers in Canada. "Reality Check!" marks the first solo CD project in Graham's achievements. It combines a blend of all new arrangements of previously released songs from his tapes "Delusions of Grandeur" and "Licence to Busk" as well as some all new never before released tunes from recent years. Blessed with a quick wit, a playful sense of the whimsy as well as a more touching side, Graham promises a musical romp you will want to listen to over and over again. Go ahead.
