CD Reviews "If you like your Celtic music on the classic side, this CD is for you. This elegant duo features Barbary Grant on Celtic harp, piano, fretted dulcimer, and lead vocal, with Aimee Aul on flute, recorder and second vocal. Their arrangements are delicious. The instrumentals are rich and sparkling, with other instruments added for color (noted piper Eric Rigler is one of their sidemen). The vocals, in both English and Gaelic, feature some highly original harmonies, and the Gaelic numbers are quite respectably done." Janet Cornwell - Leader of the Ã’ran / Amhrán Scottish-Irish Song Circle The first album by Brigit's Well features a haunting collection of Irish and Scottish traditional songs and melodies. This CD will appeal to those who appreciate that traditional Celtic music is more than just the flat out playing of jigs and reels. Brigit is indeed well, and they have good reason to be proud of this CD. CRAIC is a California organization and while we recognize the superlative accomplishments of native musicians, we have to recognize the talents that exist locally. We are fortunate to be able to include Brigit's Well into that category.
