The year 2000 has opened up new and exciting opportunities for The Velvet Janes. Firstly with the release of their new live album 'Live at the Velvet Lounge' which was recorded over two nights to their home crowd in Perth, Western Australia. And then once more being asked to tour nation wide with Ani DiFranco provided the Velvet Janes the opportunity to be exposed to a wider and more diverse audience than ever. With new and exciting moves into the international market The Velvet Janes are fast expanding their audience and opportunities alike..at this rate, they really WILL be playing in your hometown soon!
