With the acoustic guitar as the album's foundation, we laced it with synth string sounds in the right places and solid drumming by Pat Farnand [the drummer for Supercell]. It was recorded in the summer of 1997 at Mars Musical Adventures in Hudson, Wisconsin, a growing river town which welcomes people from Minnesota as they cross the beautiful St. Croix River. There is a heavy emphasis on the creative lyrics intended to provoke imagery. A rather expensive lyric booklet is included.
